Join Big Brothers Big Sisters for a workshop on trauma and resilience by BBBS Program Manager, Leanne Lytle. Learn about the groundbreaking Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) study, the power resilience plays in overcoming traumatic experiences, and the role you can play in fostering resilience in your Little.

Cost to register is $15 for community members. Current Bigs must register, but will receive a complimentary PROMO Code from their Match Support Specialist.  

Lunch will be provided. Please arrive at 11:45 a.m. to get settled and grab lunch; the presentation will begin promptly at noon.

BBBS serves youths ages 6 to 18 by matching youth (Littles) with caring, consistent adult mentors (Bigs). Bigs and Littles meet weekly and work towards goals that help the Little build social skills, increase academic achievement, and create healthy lifestyles. Big Brothers Big Sisters provides mentors throughout Greater Richmond, Tri-Cities, Hampton Roads and the Greater Virginia Peninsula.
