Bowl for Kids' Sake is Big Brothers Big Sisters' largest and longest running annual fundraiser. Every year teams from all over Richmond come together in the spirit of fun, competition and fundraising to support our mission to "Ignite the power and promise of youth."

Every dollar raised through Bowl for Kids' Sake stays right here in our community to support one to one mentoring for the most vulnerable youth and the life long impact of those relationships. There is never a charge to our families, youth or mentors for our services which makes every dollar raised important to our ability to fulfill our mission.

We invite you to join us in making a sustainable impact for the young people in our community.

WHEN A TEAM RAISES:
  • $750: earn an exclusive invitation to join the live bowling party, where each member of your team will receive a BBBS t-shirt and the opportunity to enjoy an afternoon of bowling with fellow fundraisers.
  • $1000: earn a FREE pitcher of beer or soda as well as the above prizes.
  • $1250: earn FREE pizza as well as all the above prizes.

*The top three fundraising teams will be awarded trophies, and year long bragging rights, in a ceremony during their bowling party!*


WHEN AN INDIVIDUAL RAISES:
  • $750: you receive a special Big Brothers Big Sisters branded prize.
  • $1000: you receive multiple Big Brother Big Sister branded prizes.
  • $2500 or more: you receive one of our GRAND PRIZES!

*The top three individual fundraisers will be awarded trophies in a ceremony during their bowling party!*

Active in Virginia since 1962, Big Brothers Big Sisters creates and supports one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. BBBS serves youths ages 6 to 18 by matching youth (Littles) with caring, consistent adult mentors (Bigs). Bigs and Littles meet weekly and work towards goals that help the Little build social skills, increase academic achievement, and create healthy lifestyles. Big Brothers Big Sisters provides mentors throughout Greater Richmond, Tri-Cities, Hampton Roads and the Greater Virginia Peninsula.
